Dance Agency Mass Movement best known for their work for producing major fashion shows and supplying the very best UK dancers for music videos, pop tours, TV shows and TV commercials for major ‘household name’ brands and live event productions has now taken the industry insiders by storm by creating a brand new dance collective supergroup called “The Movement” which brings together the cream of talent from the industry’s leading choreographers and dancers.  Their latest new dance phenomenon represents just one more facet of the commitment to artistic innovation that Mass Movement are renowned for.

“The Movement” brings together 16 of the most remarkable dancers working today, who were selected from closed auditions – and brilliantly fuses dance styles from ballet to street dance choreography.  Creative Director, Christian Storm, is working with renowned Choreographers Aaron Sillis & Helen Dixon, Jono + Kirsty and John Graham to combine their respective mastery of genres into one stunning cutting edge dance fusion collaboration.

“The Movement” – says Christian Storm-  is something fresh and is brilliantly crafted. What and how they perform together has never been seen before in the UK in this way.  Working as a choreography team we’re in a very privileged position. Firstly, we’re working to blend styles from true street dance choreography in with contemporary dance and classical ballet. Secondly, we’ve got the opportunity to work with sixteen of the most extraordinary dancers working in the UK today. They’ve all worked in the best dance productions, in TV commercials, with world class music performers and graced stages across the globe across their own specific genres – from The Nutcracker to Street Dance Championships - and they’re all coming together in this incredible fusion of energy, across the styles, blending together and combining their extraordinary gifts.  The excitement and power it creates just has to be seen as it literally takes your breath away – there is something for everyone and you don’t need to be a connoisseur of dance to appreciate it”

Mass Movement’s roll call of clients features some of the best known cutting edge brands from the world of sports, music, fashion, entertainment and media and their recent credits have ranged from producing major events for Pernod Ricard, Next & Adidas, to opening a Children’s Orphanage Village in India on behalf of Esprit and to providing their dancers, choreographers and creative directors for the likes of Rhianna, JLS, Take That, Will Young, Labrinth, X-Factor Tour as well as working with emerging talent such as Conor Maynard and Stooshe.

They attribute their success to actively fostering dynamic new talent and to bringing something fresh to this ever growing industry. Twice yearly open auditions search out the freshest dancers and performers from across a wide variety of dance styles ballet to Hip Hop. They also track down talent for their specialist sector devoted to ‘Extreme’ artists. These include world class break dancers, BMX and skateboard champions, acrobats, gymnasts, aerialists, parkour artists and much more.

New talents are encouraged to contact Mass Movement for the next round of open audition dates.
