ISACA-WNY Adds Michael Aisenberg as Keynote of Control and Compliance 2012 Security Conference
Rochester, NY (5 March 2012) – ISACA Western New York Chapter, Inc. is pleased to announce Michael Aisenberg, JD as a Keynote presenter for its Control and Compliance 2012 conference, April 3rd, 7:45am-6:00pm, at the Rochester Plaza.
3/5/12 2:50 PM CET
Mr. Aisenberg is a Principal in the Defense & Homeland Security practice of MITRE Corporation’s Defense and Intelligence FFRDC where he provides strategic policy advice to federal defense and intelligence agencies managing the security of the nation’s most sensitive networks and databases. Mr. Aisenberg is a past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Information Security Committee, and is Chair of its Public Policy Working Group.
Mr. Aisenberg will be offering a presentation entitled Role of Legal Frameworks in ICT Compliance which will address how ICT vendors and users look to the legal community to help evolve regulatory régimes
which support the integrity of technology and services.
When new issues arise in the ICT sector, the law can assist vendors and users alike in arriving at compliance environments which maintain system hardware and software integrity as well as operational conformity to assure effective, secure, low-cost, high quality operations. The challenge is to develop frameworks which do address legitimate issues, without burdening the sector with regulation-for-regulation’s sake,” states Aisenberg.
“We are very happy to add Mr. Aisenberg to our conference and believe that his Keynote will benefit attendees and their organizations as they further consider the implications that the evolving threat landscape has to their organizational policies and procedures ,” adds chapter President Peter Spier.
