ISACA-WNY Adds Ira Winkler as Keynote of Control and Compliance 2012 Security Conference

Rochester, NY (14 March 2012) – ISACA Western New York Chapter, Inc. is pleased to announce Ira Winkler, CISSP as a Keynote presenter for its Control and Compliance 2012 conference, April 3rd, 7:45am-6:00pm, at the Rochester Plaza.

Mr. Winkler has been named a “Modern Day James Bond” by CNN and other media outlets and is consistently ranked as one of the top speakers in the security industry, as well as being one of the leading consultants in the industry.  He also serves as President of the Internet Security Advisors Group ( ) and is renowned author of such work as Spies Among Us and Zen and the Art of Information Security .

Mr. Winkler will be offering a presentation entitled Zen and the Art of Information Security, which will explore the relationship between public policy/ legal advice AND technical advice; and their independent and mutually important and supportive, but sometimes conflicting roles in achieving industry and governments’ secure deployment of information technologies.
