Colorado couple to walk from Colorado to Marseilles, IL to the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial

A Colorado couple is walking from Fort Carson, Colorado to the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial Located in Marseilles, Illinois on the bank of the Illinois river to honor their son fallen Soldier Staff Sargent Kennith Mayne.

Fallen Soldier Staff Sargent Kennith Mayne.  Kenny was killed by an IED in Baghdad, Iraq on September 4, 2008.  As a direct result of that horrible moment, Michelle Benavidez and her husband Dan decided to walk over 1050+ miles, from Ft. Carson, Colorado to the Middle East Conflict Memorial Wall in Marseilles, Illinois.  Dan and Michelle are walking to raise awareness about the service and sacrifices paid by our Troops and their Families.  

About Illinois Motorcycle Freedom Run

We are a non for profit 501C organization. With donations and volunteers we constructed the Middle East Conflicts Wall Memorial. Every year on the 3rd Saturday in June We have a motorcycle run and then a celebration of freedom in the town of Marseilles,IL
