OFFICIAL SMARTPHONE RANKINGS RESULTS Week ending May 6, 2012

The Nokia Lumia 900 remains at the top of the People’s Choice Chart in PhoneDog Media’s Official Smartphone Rankings™ for the third consecutive week. The HTC One devices are closing in, however. How long can the Lumia 900 remain at the top?

MT. PLEASANT, SC - PhoneDog Media’s Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) continues to set the standard for ranking the hottest smartphones in the market. For a third week in a row, Nokia's underdog handset, the Lumia 900, has held off the competition and taken the #1 spot in the People's Choice Chart with 297 votes. With 35 points this week in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, the iPhone 4S continues its long reign.

The HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy Note flip-flopped this week in the People's Choice Chart. The One X took second place with 254 votes while the Galaxy Note slipped into the #3 position with 227 votes. For a second week in a row, the HTC One X took the #2 spot in the Mobile Tech Experts Chart, only holding off the HTC One S by four points.
