ECCO2 is admitted as an official NGO for United Nations Department of Economic & Social Affairs

AUSTIN, TX – March 15, 2012 – ECCO2 Corp, a non-profit Texas corporation focusing on project development and fulfillment for causes that enable climate change, sustainability, mitigation, economy, adaptation, and energy efficiency has been admitted to the United Nations Department of Economic Social Affairs by the DESA NGO Branch as an official non-governmental organization and an affiliate partner.
Organizations affiliated with the United Nations Department of Economic Social Affairs have eligibility for participation in the several conferences, committees, and financial aid programs offered by the United Nations. United Nations has several financial aid programs that are pending and active such as the Green Climate Fund, a financial aid program that will provide as much as $100 billion per year by 2020 to support concrete mitigation actions by developing countries that are implemented in a transparent way. These funds would be raised from a mix of public and private sources, which broadens the potential opportunities for ECCO2 Tech, the for-profit sister company possessing partnerships and subsidiaries that manufacture energy efficient products that will enable economic development, in addition to reduction of carbon-emissions and energy consumption.
