Belgian football and Social Media : Cleverwood interviews 13 first league clubs

The conclusions of this analysis shows that the clubs tend to use the social networks such as Facebook or Twitter for instance, but not very often in a structured and proactive way, nor they took the time to draw a real strategy for it.
The study also shows that, despite the fact that clubs are very much aware of the raising trend of this new media, a very few of them have decided to invest in social media by allocating budgets to capture this new opportunity that is offered to them. Without surprise, the larger clubs are generally ahead of the smaller ones.
