Antique Boat America Donates Winnepeg Jets Hockey Sweaters to Alexandria Bay River Hospital Foundation.
- Antique Boat America, premier broker for Antique & Classic boats has made a recent donation to Alexandria Bay, NY’s River Hospital Foundation. A pair of Winnipeg Jets hockey jerseys will be put up for auction by the River Hospital Foundation this spring to benefit the local hospital which serves much of Jefferson County. “The River Hospital is an integral part of our community and we are proud to support the River Hospital and the work that do, whenever possible said Peter Mellon, President of Antique Boat America. Jodi Kemple, Director of Programs & Events and a River Hospital Foundation volunteer are pictured below with the donated jerseys.
The Winnipeg Jets are a new addition to the NHL's Western Conference this season and the jerseys are expected to generate interest at auction. All proceeds will benefit Alexandria Bay's River Hospital.
The River Hospital Foundation was founded in 2003 and ensures that community contributions are used locally to enhance healthcare for residents of the 1000 Islands region. River Hospital Foundation manages donated assets, raises additional funds and assists in development of long-range plans for the River Hospital.
